Humbug...

I love this movie! It's been a tradition of ours to watch the Muppet's Christmas Carrol every year at Christmas time. My entire family calls me Scrooge because I have a habbit of, when I don't care to make a reply, I say simply "Humbug". If you were to meet me you would most likely here me say it. OS here are some clips of my favorite parts of it:

Happy Advent!

Happy Advent! As you can see I have decorated my blog in Christmas fashion. This Advent I am beginning to contemplate the image that this world has of Advent. True, it is a season of joy, but it is also a time of preparing. Christ is coming! It is a joyous thought! But since Christ is coming, why do we focus on how fun the day is going to be? I mean the way we all think to ourselves, "I must be joyous for Christ and not for the day." But then our poor minds only concentrate on the day itself instead of on the condition our souls are in! We should prepare our souls for the glorious day. We should be making them better places for our Lord to come and dwell in. After all, Christmas is a time of giving. But what do we give? What do we give each year to our Lord?
Hmmm...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!

Double Movie Review

Hello Followers! Last night, and the night before, I should add, I watched two movies. The first was 'The Crossing'. I rented this movie after reading about it on the company that made the props for it. (http://www.gggodwin.com/)

Jeff Daniels, in my opinion, played an awesome George Washington. Extremely dedicated to his cause. It was the story of when Washington crossed the Delaware and attacked the hessians, a by far, superior force considered the best soldiers in the world. Costume-wise I would have to rate it two stars. Acting-wise I would rate it four stars. Below is a scene where General Gates and Washington have a debate about the Battle of Trenton. This can give you an example of the acting and costumes.

The second movie is one which I consider one of the best World War II movies I've seen. Saints and Soldiers.
This movie, acting-wise and everything else-wise I would rate it four stars. An amazing movie and one I would recomend to anyone who doesn't mind PG-13 movies. It's ending was somewhat sad, but I didn't really mind. Below is the trailer for the movie. I would encourage you, if you don't mind PG-13 movies, as I said above, to watch this movie.

Don't you just hate Gone with the Wind?

As I said. Don't you hate Gone with the Wind? Well, frankly I don't give a ____. We all know that saying. Every time we watch that movie, I can't help but complain about what a stupid movie it is! It has absolutely no morals at all! Of course, Ashly Longworth and his wife, I have absolutely no remembrance what her name was or even how to spell it, showed their virtues, but on the most part IT IS SUCH A STUPID MOVIE, BOOK, STORY, ANYTHING YOU BLOODY WANT TO CALL IT!!!! So, today, I am going to make fun of it. hehehehe... Here is a video of Carol Burnett acting out her version of Gone with the Wind. There is one time that Prissy (Scarlett's maid) says "Frankly I don't give a ____" But other than that, the videos are completely clean.

The Tag from JT Which I pass on to all of my followers!

In this tag you answer these questions with your own answer and the answers of two of your favorite historical or fictional characters. My other characters are William Wallace from Scotland, and Daniel Morgan, a general of the American Revolution who is being chased by Colonel Banastre Tarleton of the british army and is being frustrated by the persistent questions when he needs to finish a plan to stop the bloody red coat.

What do you use most to comunicate?
The Pimpernel (me): Skype.
William Wallace: runners.
Daniel Morgan: letters. But besides, I don't even have time to write them.

What is your favorite music?
The Pimpernel: James Horner, Hans Zimmer, and John Williams.
William Wallace: BAGPIPES!!!!!!
Daniel Morgan: Why, fiddles! but They drive me crazy when I'm frustrated and besides, I don't really care!

Would you move to another country?
The Pimpernel: Well, yes.
William Wallace: Who me!? No! SCOTLAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel Morgan: Are you crazy!? Gosh Dang it no! I don't even have one to leave yet! Bah! Stop asking me these blasted questions!

What's your hobby?
The Pimpernel: That's a good question. I act, I direct, I choreograph... Anything that has to do with acting, movies or plays.
William Wallace: Fire! Flames!!!
Daniel Morgan: Hunting. But I don't have much time to think right now.

If you could be present anywhere, at any point in history, where would you go?
The Pimpernel: The American Revolution or Wallace's revolution.
William Wallace: Well, Let me see.... Ah! The Macabees revolt in scripture! They fought for what we fight for.
Daniel Morgan: At the moment, I'm too busy to care.

What's your favorite color?
The Scarlet Pimpernel: Why, Scarlet! Hahaha!
William Wallace: Scottish tartan plaid!
Daniel Morgan: Blue! Not that I care. Anything that would be opposite of the British! If they were loyal to Washington, I would change my loyalty to King Louis of France!

If you had a favorite animal, what would it be?
The Pimpernel: A dog!
William Wallace: A hawk!
Daniel Morgan: Pah! Like I really care.

If you had a motto, what would it be?
The Pimpernel: We seek him here, we seek him there. Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. is he in Heaven? Is he in hell? That elusive Scarlet Pimpernel.
William Wallace: Every man dies, not every man really lives. Or, Every man dies, it's just a matter of how and why.
Daniel Morgan: Time which you you don't have to lose shouldn't be spent in answering questions...

If you suddenly had a million (tax-free) dollars, what would you do?
The Pimpernel: Use it. Most deffinately.
William Wallace: Buy armor and swords for my brave men.
Daniel Morgan: Pay a certain reporter who asks frustrated Generals pesty questions to leave him alone.

What's your favorite literature?
The Pimpernel: The Scarlet Pimpernel.
William Wallace: The Bible.
Daniel Morgan: Kill the questions and Have the Reporter Shot. A book which I'm about to write.

The Rest of Daniel Morgans answer has been sensored. Hahaha! Just kidding. I tag all my followers!

My Job

Hello fellow bloggers and entertained unbloggers! I have just gotten back from my job at the Cider Mill. Well, goods and bads. Bads first. I believe in getting the bad over with first so we can enjoy the good. Now, we have the job, originally Hannah was in the donut bakery making and selling the donuts. And I was an Apple Grader. I am the one that makes sure the apples don't have bruises or poke-holes. Then, if they are good I put them in a bag and sell them. But then they put us somewhere else... our boss took us to a pumpkin patch and said we were going to be acting in the field which is known as "the story book". So while a corn ride goes by we entertain the kids with different acts as they go by. I am the frog. I know. Strange. All of us have different parts and we're running all over an acre of land here and there until the hay ride passes by in about 5 minutes. Then we wait. We wait for about half an hour to forty minutes until the next one passes when we run and run and run to our next positions as the hay ride passes by. And we do that for about five hours. That's very boring. And then, after we had done that for two days, we thought he would reverse it and put us back where we were to begin with. Quite the opposite. In fact he's going to have us doing it for the rest of the month!!!! Gaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!

Good news, we're getting paid. hahaha! And I love money!!! And also, I am acting!!!! Yaaaa! We have a joke that the frog is the main character of the story book because all the little kids, while they see Snow white and the Princess, "Look mommy there's the frog!" Instead of, "Snow White!!!" So we have the joke that the frog is the main charater of the story book. hahaha!
